Industrial Petroleum Jelly, also known as Vaseline, is a semi-solid, translucent mixture of hydrocarbons. Initially, it was promoted as a topical ointment for its healing properties. Petroleum Jelly Industrial Grade, or yellow petroleum jelly, meets the standards set by the British and U.S.A. Pharmacopoeia for yellow petroleum.
Currently, there is a significant demand for Vaseline in the industry. This grade can be either white or yellow, with color being less important in this context.
Uses of Petroleum Jelly Industrial Grade
Petroleum Jelly Industrial Grade is a versatile product with numerous applications. It is used to moisten plasticine, coat corrosion-prone items, condition leather, and finish wood. Additionally, it protects and prevents moisture loss, and serves as a release agent for plaster Molds and castings, rubber, automotive, and general industrial sectors.
Packaging Options
Petroleum Jelly Industrial Grade is available in new or second-hand 175 kg drums, ISO tanks, and Flexi tanks. Each 20-foot container can hold 80 drummed units of petroleum jelly.
